| My mk2 valver needs a bit of tidying up as the roof and bonnet have had it and seriously toying with the idea of going all out and going for a full respray....... Can anyone suggest or recommend anywhere they've used and the kind of dough I can expect to shell out? Cheers. |

| I've heard the Barton are pricey and moved to new premises on the ind. est at Llangefni.
Someone has mentioned Barry at Star, Gaerwen, anyone know what he's like? |

| Works wonders in his little shed. He did mine, not the best car in the world to show off his work, but yeah, really pleasant little bloke, does a very tidy job! Good price too He did all except bonnet roof and boot for me (the sides) etc, repaired dents re-spray... £300 |

| I now use Celtic bodyshop in prestatyn - I've honestly never had spray work as good as theirs.
They can be pricey, but with insurance approved / top quality work, you can expect to pay more. It's worth it in the long term. |

| Thanks guys, appreciate the feedback on this. The valver was keyed down the drivers side a while back and the lacquer on the bonnet and roof has seen better days as well as the paint is starting to lift in the same areas. My budget is around the 1K mark for all the body work I want doing so I just need some pointers as to who to use and see what they want in terms of lightening my wallet......... |
